What we learned from 2012 is the Republican Party needs to stop talking only to white people. It’s not working and won’t win the elections of tomorrow.

In his first five years in office, FDR spent more than the previous 31 presidents combined; in eight years as president, Obama will have doubled the national debt accumulated by all 43 of his predecessors (unless, of course, Uncle Sam’s farcical finances blow up before then).

Liberalism offers help for the misery it creates. Its “compassion,” therefore, is forever needed.

Mankind is not one dimensional. Despite what Ayn Rand might tell us, we are more than self-interested, economically-driven creatures. We are spiritual and emotional and relational beings who seek community in civil society. Yes we have individual rights, but we also have obligations to our fellow citizens.

After two generations of entitlement indoctrination, the socialist welfare state is collapsing under its own unaffordable weight. It is the inevitable result of socialism. Too many Americans still vote a party because of a generation of propaganda molding their beliefs. Too many Americans are still willing to sell their vote and their freedom for a hand out in the form of a tax credit, healthcare, pension bailout, school loan, farm subsidy or a thousand other imagined benefits from a morally and fiscally bankrupt government as long as it is paid for by ‘someone else’.

Obama is now untouchable. His narcissistic arrogance knows no bounds. How dare anyone question his actions or motives! With the aid of his sycophant media his tyranny is nearly complete. He has fooled most of the people most of the time. He despises the constitution and the rule of law. He has brought Chicago style thugocracy to the national stage. He has given more taxpayer money to campaign supporters than all other politicians combined. He has increased our burden of debt more than all other presidents combined. And America re-elected this charlatan? Collective insanity.

While we have slowed the juggernaut of the socializing of America into a failed welfare state, we cannot push back the tide that is sweeping over us without a much greater battle for the hearts and minds of the people.

It was a terrible mistake on their part that enabled Obama to escape the damaging repercussions of the scandal right before what many conservatives called the most important presidential election of our lifetimes.

The U.S. now has the most inept and timid administration of the modern era.

Wind energy is parasitic – totally dependent on fossil fuels for backup power, with every megawatt of wind power supported by a megawatt of redundant coal or natural gas generating plants. So wind cannot possibly or meaningfully reduce emissions.
