Freedom and prosperity do not spring from government’s power to tax, borrow, and spend. Instead we must get Washington out of the way and allow private enterprise to thrive. The Republican Study Committee created this video to illustrate how Washington has strayed from the ideas that made our nation great. It should be a reminder of what is at stake this November.

Change the words and you change the perception: spending becomes investment and responsibility becomes austerity. Those who are manning the pumps aren’t blowing up a financial bubble they are showing compassion for their fellow man and investing for the future. Anyone who warns of a coming crash or tries to slow the rate of spending is pushing grandma off the cliff for the benefit of millionaires and billionaires.

The “debt bomb” will inevitably devastate our economy soon unless the American people start replacing the career politicians in Washington and elect people who are more interested in the future of our country rather than the next election. Term-limited members who are willing to make the tough choices to cut spending, balance the federal budget is the only way we will be able to come together to defuse the coming debt bomb.

Their objective is not the practice of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness but a society elevated enough to be fully in sync with the ideals and ideologies of its leaders. A populace perfectly trained to fulfill the expectations of its leaders. That is the essence of the power struggle.

Obama’s first term was dedicated to putting in place executive power to enable him and the administration to fulfill the campaign promise of “transforming America” in his second term regardless of which political party controls Congress. – American Thinker

The CBO said Obamacare will kill 800,000 jobs, millions of Americans will lose their health insurance plans and be forced to government run exchanges, the cost of Obamacare has skyrocketed to over $1.7 trillion and there will be fewer doctors practicing. Can we afford to reelect Obama?

With an economy growing at 1 percent or less a year, and the government relying more on borrowed “theoretical” money to finance the ever-exploding demand for ever-more government services, it will be interesting to see how well this works out for them, in the end.
