Judge rules: “The government has every right, even every obligation, to regulate health care, because it’s a large portion of the economy.” What this means in practice is: Government may regulate health care any way it wants, so long as nobody (outside of government) has to pay for it. This is the perfect prescription for single-payer, nationalized health care on the Canadian model.
