“At just 63.5 percent, participation in the labor force remains very low by historical standards and below last year’s average of 63.7 percent.”

Current participation at its lowest level in almost 35 years.

Obama is sending green jobs to Finland, Malaysia, or Mexico and billions of our tax dollars to Spain, Britain, and even China.

Women continued to experience more than a twenty year low in labor force participation in August.

The only reason the unemployment rate edged down slightly in August was that fewer people looked for work and thus no longer count as unemployed. … we are in the slowest recovery in 70 years, and job creation has not recovered since the recession began in 2007.

I know quite a few Democrats. Some are family, and many are close friends. Most voted for Obama in 2008. None at this point is inclined to vote for him in 2012. – IBD

Someone tell Obama. The oil drilling boom in North Dakota has increased average incomes from $30,000 to $50,000 and reduced unemployment to less than 1%!
