Obama’s anti-energy secretary who is infamous for saying we need higher gas prices like those in Europe doubled down on his goals of using less oil not lowering gas prices. When asked if the goal was to lower gas prices he said “No.”

What happened? Free enterprise and capital markets happened. Fracking and innovation allowed new natural gas deposits to be found in our country which brought forth huge reserves of US energy and drove down costs even while usage soared.

Now that the climate hoax has been exposed so much that cap and trade has no hope of being revived in congress, the grifters (a perfect name for the green leftists) are pushing another climate scam called RES – Renewable Energy Standards or Renewable Electricity Standards.

After getting their hopes dashed with cap and trade legislation, many legislators are still determined to impose an energy tax on Americans.
