Solyndra proves, better than any other single example, that government intervention will not bring new energy and new technology into existence.

Waxman and Degette are revealing that the defects in the Solyndra loan were features, not bugs, of its parent Energy Department loan program. If there was no malfeasance on the federal government’s part, then all of its actions can be fairly presented as the program’s normal workings.

Sticking to his gunrunning AG who lied to congress and defending his half billion dollar bailout of big contributors in Solyndra, Obama continues “pushing hard” to blow taxpayer money on alternative energy scams and deflect questions on his plan to ban guns based on claims of US guns used by Mexican drug cartels.

Flush half a billion down the green drain for big campaign contributors and call it keeping up with China? Even when staffers warned Solyndra would fail the loan was pushed through anyway. We would get more “green” energy by burning the money. This man should go to jail. There is eight billion more out there and much of it going to Dem contributors.

Staff reports had predicted that Solyndra would fail and yet the Obama administration approved the loan because billionaire Obama supporter George Kaiser was the main investor in Solyndra.
