The constitutional framers designed our system of government to restrict the president from making policy unilaterally and acting like a king. But Obama is making a mockery of our system of checks and balances. – IBD

Obama has broken his oath of office and acted against his own words. By issuing an order directly in conflict with previous rulings he has expanded the presidents power beyond the other two branches. This is plain and simple tyranny, a usurpation of power that rightfully resides with the people through their elected representatives in the congress. Where is the outrage? Who has the guts to stand up to this? Call for his immediate impeachment! Get out the pitch forks it’s time to storm the castle!

We must send faxes, emails and make calls to all congressman and demand they stop Obama’s perverted, extreme and Unconstitutional abuse of Executive Orders. It is time to demand our elected leaders start protecting America, sovereignty and our Constitution.

Neil Munro has been criticized for interrupting Obama’s announcement that we don’t need congress or the constitution and Obama and his administration can make up laws that they feel are “the right thing to do.” Where is the outrage? More reporters should have been shouting at him. Americans should be screaming at their TVs when they see this kind of hegemony. This is plain and simple tyranny, a usurpation of power that rightfully resides with the people through their elected representatives in the congress.

Unless citizens regain control of their country, the political class will increasingly oppress. Freedoms will continue to be taken away. Those who believe that this act is not a big deal are fools. This particular act intrudes on the freedom of those who wish to emigrate. In reality it is more than that. It is just another bold example of what tyranny looks like. It is an indicator of what is to come to whatever sphere of life you consider important.

The madness that passes for government approaches what one finds in a totalitarian state. We are not there yet, but we getting close and there are no signs that the descent is slowing.

Unfortunately, our political system seems to be a magnet for control freaks. These control freaks truly believe that they know better than the rest of us and they are systematically moving toward taking total control of our lives. Our rights are being stripped away a little bit more with each passing day, and we are being told that we need a “permit” or a “license” for almost everything.

The cumulative effect is that families have even less money to buy food, pay the rent or mortgage, repair the car or house, save for college and retirement, take a vacation – and keep people comfortable (and alive) on frigid winter nights and sweltering summer afternoons. Workers lose jobs. Health and welfare, family relationships, future prospects and psychological well-being plummet. Because they spend the highest proportion of their incomes on energy, poor and minority families suffer disproportionately.

Obama’s tyrannical NLRB has approved a union to organize a just the shoe department within a department store. This will create chaos in companies where some workers are union and some are not. The obvious goal of the union is to eventually organize all the employees. They can’t get a majority to vote for unionization so this gimmick allows the camel’s nose under the tent.
