As a recovering liberal, it has also been the shock of a lifetime to learn that many of the threats to our country come from within. I never had a clue that the progressive movement that I had supported, “the good guys,” was a danger to us all.

Earth to Robin — remember those nutcases who bombed this nation in the 60‘s, people such as, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn? Well, maybe we don’t want them having influence over the President of the United States. And perhaps all of those America-haters on the Left, now in charge, aren’t exactly the greatest guardians of the public trust.

We have people running the show who appear to despise the country and everything it stands for. Obama seems repelled by the prospect of giving a speech in front of a crucifix. He overlooks the God part in the Constitution. The anger and alienation of so many Leftists reinforce the concept of the Enemy Within.

With loose borders and a governmental wink/wink to Sharia Law, many of our adversaries literally take up residency here. When people who hate us start moving down the block, the Enemies Without become the Enemies Within.

Bob Dylan captured this essential truth in powerful lyrics: You know that sometimes Satan comes as a man of peace. We need leaders who will vigilantly guard our nation from both the Enemies Within and Without.
