National Debt now at $126,985 per taxpayer – total liability $1,013,695 per taxpayer
While the debt per citizen used more often, almost half of the US pays no taxes. When this video was done in May of 2010 the tax per citizen was $40,174. Its now $45,058 and that is just the federal debt. State debt can be as high as $15,000 per citizen as in New York. That does not count unfunded liabilities which bring the federal obligation to $1,013,695 per taxpayer. How do you plan to pay your share? DEBT CLOCK
