No ‘gunsights’ on Palin map? Left owes an apology

The same style symbols used on Palin’s map are called ‘Principal point’ under USGS instructions for topographic maps.

Here is the controversial Palin map:

Controversial Palin 'gunsight' map

Seems like much ado about nothing.

Of course facts don’t matter. Its just the last gasp of the radical left desperately trying to shape opposition to their ideology as beneath consideration. Its right out of the hero of the left Saul Alinsky‘s ‘Rules for Radicals’ rule #5 -Ridicule. Just for the record, Obama taught Alinsky’s methods when he was a community organizer.

Besides, the Democrats have been using target maps and targeting language for years before Palin even entered the national scene.

Neither side can be blamed for a mentally deranged shooter, but if something could set him on Rep. Giffords in particular it might have been a Daily Kos post.

The Daily Kos is a radical left web site that ran a ‘target list’ mentioning Rep. Giffords by name and said she (along with other ‘conservative’ Democrats had ‘sold out the constitution’.  Has anyone checked to see if The Daily Kos was one of shooter Jerrod Loughner’s favorite web sites?
