SHOCK POLL: Obama loses to Romney, ties Perry, close to Bachmann and Paul

It ain’t over ’til the fat lady votes.  In a new Gallup poll “Obama is closely matched against each of four possible Republican opponents when registered voters are asked whom they would support if the 2012 presidential election were held today. Mitt Romney leads Obama by two percentage points, 48% to 46%, Rick Perry and Obama are tied at 47%, and Obama edges out Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann by two and four points, respectively.”

Its still early. Most Americans are not even paying much attention to the election or candidates yet but many are seething with anger over the economy. A Washington Post poll has found that a whopping 78 percent of Americans are unhappy “with the way this country’s political system is working”. Only 17 percent of Americans now believe that the U.S. government has the consent of the governed. 80 percent of Americans believe that it is “difficult” to find a job these days. 39 percent of Americans believe that the U.S. economy has now entered a “permanent decline” and 48 percent of Americans believe that it is likely that another great Depression will begin within the next 12 months.

I’m surprised that Obama is getting that much support. Only his constant support by the leftist media can explain it.
