Obamacare propaganda just not working – Krauthammer: “its the dog food”

March 20, 2012 09:16

“Anytime anybody has a look at it or has a lick of it they don’t like it. We can see this as a historical trajectory. It was the focus of the 2010 elections where the Democrats got slaughtered. And then for a couple years it went into hibernation. It wasn’t in the news, it hadn’t been implemented so it wasn’t a big issue. Although Obama understands how unpopular it is and thus he gave it only one sentence in the State of the Union address. This is his signature achievement. He knows that the less people talk about it or look at it the better it is.” – Krauthammer

It costs triple what they said. Remember when Pelosi said we have to pass the bill so we can see what’s in it? Now we are seeing what is really in it. You can’t keep your doctor or your health plan after all. Your premiums will skyrocket. There really will be death panels. Businesses will be forced to provide free abortion pills in health plans even if they are religious businesses. And now it will cost three times as much as they told you. Oops! You’ve been had America.

It was never really meant to work anyway. The plan has always been to drive insurers out of business and force a government directed socialized medicine on everyone. That is what Obama and socialist Democrats have espoused and Obamacare was just the vehicle to get America down that road.

Investors Business Daily points out that even HHS secretary Sebelius knows the plan:

“Testifying last Wednesday in front of the House Ways and Means Committee, Sebelius was asked by Rep. Peter Roskam, R-Ill., if the administration was being honest when President Obama promised that those who liked their health plans could keep them.

Said Sebelius: “The private market is in a death spiral.”

Sebelius tried to temper her comment by claiming the private insurance market would collapse even if the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act had not been passed. But the truth is, the market cannot survive under the growing weight of government, and Obama-Care was to be the final heavy load that will crush it.

Yes, the health insurance industry might indeed survive ObamaCare. But its form won’t be recognizable. It will no longer a competitive industry, but rather a cartel managed and protected by the government.”

And this from Michael J. Hurd, Ph.D.:

The ObamaCare law was cynically designed to create freebies to appease the masses while the government systematically takes over medical care altogether. No other outcome is possible here, on the course ObamaCare has set for us. By piling profit-destroying restrictions on health insurance companies like no other industry has ever endured, insurance companies will eventually go out of business.

The only way to avoid socialized medicine at this point is to throw Obama out in 2012 and replace enough socialist Democrats in the senate to repeal the whole bill.
