Press Yawns Over Obama Socialist Ties
Obama was the fiercest of the true believers among campus Marxists

Last month, a former Marxist professor recounted a politically explosive tete-a-tete he had with Obama when he was a college student.
In his first-hand account, posted on AmericanThinker.com, John C. Drew, a Ph.D., said Obama expressed “doctrinaire” Marxist views, including the need for a new socialist U.S. government that would redistribute the nation’s wealth.
Drew cited the date and place of their hours-long meeting, along with several witnesses who were there — including Obama’s roommate, Hasan Chandoo, also described as a “committed Marxist.”
On Monday, the late conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart posted, posthumously, a 1998 poster advertising a Chicago play romanticizing the late Marxist agitator, Saul “The Red” Alinsky. The poster features Obama and several known communists as panelists in a “post-show discussion.”
One of the panelists listed on the poster with Obama is socialist leader Heather T. Booth, a longtime Obama patron with key access to the White House, where she’s had a major hand in shaping new regulations. It was Booth’s classmate and fellow Alinskyite Jerry Kellman who hired and helped train Obama as an organizer in the 1980s.
