The White House says it has assurances from Egypt’s new Islamist leader that he’ll honor the Israeli peace pact and protect women’s and Christians’ rights. How naive.

These assurances come from the same anti-Jew, anti-woman, anti-Christian hard-liner whose radical Muslim Brotherhood party has already betrayed the trust of Egyptian secularists and U.S. officials in the run-up to the election.

 

It’s bad enough this administration is trusting proven liars. Worse, it’s using U.S. tax dollars to fund terror-supporting Islamofascists with hegemonic ambitions.

A week before the election, the Muslim Brotherhood leadership in Egypt reportedly drew up a secret plan called “Jazira,” Arabic for Peninsula, to Islamize not only Egypt, but the entire region — paving the way for an Islamic Caliphate that threatens Israel’s very existence.

 

Egypt’s Brotherhood, once outlawed as a terrorist group by ousted President Hosni Mubarak, has offshoots in almost every Muslim country (as well as America, where Morsi studied and joined Brotherhood front groups).

 

Most disturbing, the White House last week invited a banned Egyptian terrorist to join a delegation of Brotherhood officials from Egypt. Their mission: demand the release of the sheik.

This is why legitimizing the Brotherhood and its agenda is so dangerous.
