It will cost more in inefficiency to change the tax laws for 60 days than people will save in payroll tax. This is all about Obama’s campaign and trying to frame the GOP as holding up a tax holiday. Nancy Pelosi (one of the 1%) immediately blamed the “radical Teaparty Republicans” for not passing the ludicrous senate bill.

Obama talks jobs and his passion for the “middle class” out of one side of his mouth while out of the other side he crushes the energy industry and drives up energy costs which drives up the cost of everything. The poor and the middle class are hit hardest in a stagnant economy by higher electric bills. But remember Obama promised that under his plan “electricity rates would necessarily have to skyrocket.”

The right to rise does not require a libertarian utopia to exist. Rather, it requires fewer, simpler and more outcome-oriented rules. Rules for which an honest cost-benefit analysis is done before their imposition. – Jeb Bush at WSJ

If we do not educate the American people about how deathly ill the U.S. economy has become, then they will just keep falling for the same old lies that our politicians keep telling them.
