The Obama administration is roundly denouncing plans to burn copies of the Quran. Christian leaders rightly condemn it as “appalling” and “disgusting” and say it “violates both our Christian and American identities.” So why the silence when Bibles were burned?

Liberals couldn’t care less about the First Amendment. To the contrary, censoring speech and religion is the left’s specialty! (Any religion other than Islam.) They promote speech codes, hate crimes, free speech zones (known as “America” off college campuses), and go around the country yanking every reference to God from the public square via endless lawsuits by the ACLU. – Ann Coulter

Book burning is antithetical to American ideals. People have a constitutional right to burn a Koran if they want to, but doing so is insensitive and an unnecessary provocation – much like building a mosque at Ground Zero.

In 2008 there were 2,876 hate crimes against blacks, 1,297 against gays, and 1,055 against Jews. Yet, with only 105 such disgusting acts committed against Muslims, America’s media want you to believe this nation is Islamophobic.

In Paris Muslims gather from far and near to block streets and dominate neighborhoods where a mosque has been built. Will this be the tactic at Park 51 near Ground Zero?

A high powered and well connected “veterans group” has issued a letter backing “Park 51?, the Islamic community center and mosque proposed for Lower Manhattan – the popularly known “Ground Zero Mosque”.
