Another Oil Price Shock, Another Global Recession?
Studies show that historically, around 90% of US recessions post World War II were preceded by oil price shocks. The most recent occurrence took place when oil more than doubled in price from January 2007 to July 2008 due to a sharp increase in Chinese demand. The pullback of US consumer and corporate spending already put a drag on economic growth before the subprime-induced financial crisis closed the deal on the Great Recession.

The Obama administration is using NASA as a political propaganda tool in pushing its global warming myth. It allows Obama to push his anti-capitalism agenda of redistribution of wealth. Remember Obama warned us in 2008 that under his plan of cap and trade electricity rates “would necessarily have to skyrocket.” He could not get cap and trade passed even with a Democrat controlled congress so he is using government agencies like NASA and the EPA to thwart the will of the people.
