Forcing taxpayers to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for government union Viagra is not unique to Montgomery County. In fact, the very same government unions that were demanding their “right” to collective bargaining in Wisconsin have repeatedly fought for their “right” to Viagra as well:

Failure to display a pro-union sign, the letter says, “will leave us no choice but [to] do a public boycott of your business.” And if you want to remain neutral — well, that’s not good enough. “Sorry, neutral means ‘no’ to those who work for the largest employer in the area and are union members,” the letter says.

Public union employees and those addicted to the nanny state need an ever-increasing “fix”. They are like drug addicts, and politicians are like pushers. Think about drug addicts willing to do anything for their daily fix. Addicts will coerce, bribe, or steal to get what they want. Public unions are no different.

They’re all disturbing signs of a union going mad over its own irrelevance and taking up more goonish tactics. Whatever it is, it has no place in civil society, and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
