In a blatant attempt at campaign support, Obama and desperate Democrats line up behind more federal spending for union bailouts. This time its another $23 BILLION to go to failed states to fund exorbitant teacher union benefits.

Even though unions have already gotten taxpayer bailouts of benefits ($20 BILLION in GM fiasco alone), preferential treatment in federally funded work, the overturning of 76 year rules on unionization, ownership in Chrysler and GM to the detriment of shareholders, creditors and taxpayers, and the lions share of stimulus money directed to public work projects which will have to be union, they will be expecting more like taxpayer funding of a trillion dollars of under funded union pension liabilities.

Obama’s hope and change worked out real well for unions who helped elect him at GM and Chrysler, not so well for legal creditors and tax payers.

A UAW-controlled auto retiree health care fund was owed $20 billion by GM before the bailout. Under the White House-dictated terms, UAW-appointed fund managers got back half of what they were owed in cash, whereas taxpayers who were owed $19.4 billion didn’t get a dime back in cash.

The leftist media is fond of crying about the ‘tone’ in government. what the American people want is MORE confrontational tone not less. We want our representatives to stand up and FIGHT for the people who elected them. We’ve been rolling over too long! Gov. Christie gets it!

Obama administration seems to be anti-democracy in its favoritism to unions. ‘The fix is in’ with Obama and the unions.

Labor unions will have an easier time organizing workers at U.S. airline and railroad companies after the Obama administration on Monday changed a 76-year-old rule on union elections. Another example of Obama bypassing congress to payoff election help.

This movie is just one example, along with the reports of how they are furiously lashing out against Governor Christie, of how the New Jersey teachers are now running scared. This is an excellent thing for everyone not on their gravy train. Those with the political power of the teachers are likely to believe that they can simply hunker down and wait for a change in the political weather, and they may be right.

Big Labor’s bosses sort of got lost in recent months amid the hubbub about Obamacare and, more recently, reforming Wall Street, but they’re still out there, actively lobbying their Democrat friends in Congress and the White House, and pushing their agenda.
