By the time today’s 6-year-olds are driving, the level of the U.S. debt will be teetering on 90 percent of the entire economy. Research shows that economies that reach this level suffer from long downturns in economic growth.

“Investing” in green quackery, crumbling bridges, not costing a dime etc. etc. etc. Obama’s lame speech was a retread of the same ol’ same old tired and failed Marxist slogans. Hey it worked then and he won reelection so it must be fooling most of the people most of the time.

We fools assumed the Constitution was still in effect. We did not realize Congress had passed its power over to a single person who can act totally on her own.

Obama’s nominee for interior secretary is another anti-energy, carbon taxing, wacko environmentalist consistent with Obama’s promise of making electricity rates “skyrocket.”

I ask you to consider the recent focus on firearms in a broader frame. Think of it in context of ALL forms of violence in America. Where is the MOST violence to be found? What systems support it…and hide it from our view?

Since high-speed passenger trains are not commercially viable, the only way to have them is for the government to build them. But even if one or two routes made sense for some environmental reason, once the government built those routes, the political demand to reach every other podunk jurisdiction represented by a powerful elected official would overwhelm all sense.

Uncle Sam did not raise the sword. Uncle Mohammed did, more years ago than anyone can count, and the sword has never been lowered since. As long as Mohammed is at the gates, Sam cannot put down the sword and spend all his time discussing monetary theory or social justice. Not if he expects to still be wearing his head by morning.

Today it has been transformed into a rotting, decaying, post-apocalyptic hellhole.

There is not a scintilla of evidence that reducing carbon dioxide to avoid global warming has any basis in science, but ample evidence that Obama sees it as a way to reduce the nation’s capacity to generate the energy—electricity—it requires for economic growth.
