Eric Holder is threatened with contempt of congress as he continues to withhold documents pertaining to the Mexican gun smuggling scandal known as Fast and Furious which has led to the death of one American and many Mexicans.

It made no sense from a legal, law-enforcement or national security point of view. It bore all the marks of a White House political operation to sway U.S. public opinion in favor of gun control as the bodies piled up.

Issa wrote that Holder and the DOJ are “actively engaged in a cover-up” of activities related to Operation Fast and Furious, a scandal-plagued and ill-fated “gunwalking” program designed to track firearms from U.S. gun shops to drug cartels in Mexico. Obama knew. Holder knew. It was a political ploy to give credence to the claims made by Obama, holder, Clinton and Napolitano that gun sales in the US needed to be restricted because of drug cartel violence in Mexico. The facts disproved their claims so they decided to invent some with this crazy gun smuggling operation that has led to hundreds of Mexican deaths and the murder of a US Border Patrol agent.

Obama, Holder, Napolitano, and Clinton — visited Mexico in March and April of 2009. All four raised the issue of smuggled guns, and each in his or her own way vowed to “take the fight to the Mexican drug cartels.” All four supported tightening loopholes in existing gun laws and reinstituting the AWB. All four have denied knowledge of a program named Fast and Furious. All four executives in charge should have known what we citizens now know. – AT
