Obama is misleading the American public by saying we only have 2% of the worlds oil supply. In fact, we have enough oil to meet our needs for the next 200 years. If Obama and the Democrats would get out of the way the US could be energy self sufficient in just 12 years.

It is possible to list dozens, if not hundreds, of energy production options, but there are really only two basic types: there are projects that produce energy that is worth more than it costs, and there are ventures that produce energy that costs more than it’s worth. Obama’s energy strategy, which he seemed so proud of in his speech, is to tax the former in order to subsidize the latter. – Forbes

Obama had the audacity to pressure Democrat senators to block approval of the Keystone XL pipeline which would provide millions of barrels of Canadian oil to the US and create thousands of real jobs. Obama seems to be doing everything he can to kill jobs and drive up gas prices. Not surprising when you remember his anti-energy secretary is infamous for saying the US needs to find a way to have higher gas prices like those in Europe. Obama himself warned in 2008 that under his plans energy rates would “necessarily skyrocket.” Look at what they do not what they say.

LOL. The most deceptive administration in history calls someone a liar? Gas was well below Gingrich’s proposed $2.50 a gallon when Obama took office. Obama chose an energy secretary who is infamous for stating that we need to have gas prices as high as those in Europe. When we see the natural results of that energy department and Obama gets called on it they get testy and start calling presidential candidates liars? Too funny except that we all feel the pain of higher energy costs which Obama said would “necessarily skyrocket” under his plan.
