Wasn’t Obama recently bragging about his auto bailout? The one where he gave billions to campaign supporting unions. Haven’t we heard that taxpayers will make a profit on TARP? Just more campaign lies I guess.

Four more years of this insanity? Obama’s Utopian green dream car built by union bailout money and subsidized by even more tax dollars can catch fire and then electrocute first responders trying to save the driver. So the DOE has allocated $4.4 million of your borrowed tax dollars to train firemen on how to first cut the battery cables twice before trying to save you. They get stupider and stupider.

The Volt joke has become symbolic of Obama’s “green” schemes to take your green and give it to companies that pretend to do something to save the planet but actually are doing more to save or create Obama campaign contributions. In GM’s case the auto unions which supported Obama with hundreds of millions of dues dollars were paid back with billions in taxpayer dollars to bailout GM and Chrysler.

Unions force Twinkie maker into bankruptcy – will Obama bailout?
The parent company of Hostess that makes Twinkies,Yodels and other favorite snacks has filed bankruptcy blaming lucrative union benefits. Will Obama bailout Twinkies like he did GM? Will he give the company to the unions after putting in billions of taxpayer dollars like he did with GM and Chrysler? If not why not? Is the auto industry union more important to Obama than the Twinkie industry union? Are UAW members giving more to Obama campaigns?

GM is recalling the biggest flop in autos since the Edsel. The Chevy electric Volt was touted by Obama as the future of the auto industry. Even with tens of thousands of dollars in government subsidies and fleet purchases by the government and its cronies like GE the Volt has failed dismally in sales. Now it has been discovered that the batteries in these “green” cars catch fire.
