Cheney said, “My point in this oped was to say, “Wait a second!” When you have a president who’s embarked on such a dangerous path, whether you want to talk about domestic policy, ignoring the debt, trying to trample on our Second Amendment rights, on our religious freedom, national security, weakening this nation… Across the board his policies are so dangerous that it is not obstructionism to block them, I think, it is indeed patriotism.” – Jim Hoft

Women continued to experience more than a twenty year low in labor force participation in August.

The only reason the unemployment rate edged down slightly in August was that fewer people looked for work and thus no longer count as unemployed. … we are in the slowest recovery in 70 years, and job creation has not recovered since the recession began in 2007.

I wonder how millions of unemployed Americans feel about their bailout money that is now invested in China. The President is right that GM is number one again – in China.

I know quite a few Democrats. Some are family, and many are close friends. Most voted for Obama in 2008. None at this point is inclined to vote for him in 2012. – IBD
