Obama continues his stealth war on the middle class while trying to portray himself as a defender of the middle class. Nancy Pelosi warned us we would have to “pass the bill to find out what’s in it.” Well now we know -higher costs, more taxes, higher insurance premiums, death panels, rationed care, waivers for union pals, religious intolerance, abortion advocacy, the end of Medicare Advantage, less doctors, more waiting and in the end socialized medicine which was always the real goal.

Now for something really terrifying: a list of what Obama has in store for America in a second term if he can fool independents into voting for him again. – IBD Editorials

The Bolshevik leader told the Russian people everybody would be able to afford going to the doctor, not just the “greedy rich.” He also claimed centralized control of the medical industry would “reduce costs” and end the “waste” from “unnecessary duplication and parallelism” in a competitive market. – IBD Editorials

Yates Walker has assessed Obama’s term succinctly in 231 words. – The Daily Caller

“It’s clear that it’s added over a trillion dollars to federal spending over the next ten years and hundreds of billions of dollars to the federal deficit.” Charles Blahous of the Mercatus Center explains that the Affordable Care Act will expand the federal deficit to Neil Cavuto.

It’s not just that Obama is a bully, however. It’s that Big Government and socialist policies are, by their very nature, bullying policies. They require compulsion. They are mandates, not protections.

Just what America needs, a few thousand more IRS agents. Note that a big part of the half billion is to insure that “poor people” get free money to pay for their health insurance required under the mandate that is about to be thrown out by the court. Everything this president touches is about taking from some and giving to his special interests. Wealth redistribution is Marxism. Obama is a Marxist.

Given the president’s end-runs around Congress, his shredding of the Constitution and his assault on the authority of the courts, a second term free of electoral restraints may be a frightening prospect. – IBD Editorials
