One need hardly be a constitutional scholar to understand that a federal government that can require you to purchase something you do not want or do not need can require you to do anything it wants. A government that powerful is a government to be feared.

Medicaid still grows under the Ryan plan but is is run at a more local state level. Democrats continue to fight any changes in Medicaid which will lead to bankruptcy and be an end to all of Medicaid. Obamacare puts healthcare in charge of 15 bureaucrats ( a death panel ). The Ryan plan lets seniors have control of their healthcare.

The Attorney General of the State of Alabama filed documents today in US District Court in Birmingham, Alabama to join EWTN Global Catholic Network as a plaintiff in its lawsuit against the Obama Administration’s contraception mandate. EWTN filed its lawsuit on February 9, asking the federal courts to overturn the new rules which require most U.S. employers to provide contraception, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs in their health plans even if it violates their conscience.
