Like Congress’s questionable trading practices, mixing real estate investments with taxpayer money is technically legal. Actually, it’s pretty easy for members of Congress to get rich off of federal projects — land deals are more difficult to detect than trades, and land, unlike stocks, doesn’t have a set price.

Freedom of speech now stands to be sacrificed on the altar of pragmatic accommodation to Muslims and Islam. And as a Graham or Reid or Boehner touch a match to a compromise-soaked Constitution, Muslims, gathering after their prayers, will watch the ashes and smoke rise in the sky, and chant: “Burn, baby! Burn!”

Reid and Pelosi hid the fact that there was $105 billion in spending in the Obamacare bill. Rep. Michele Bachmann thinks that may rise to an impeachable offense and the GOP should ‘claw back’ that $105 billion in the continuing resolution bill.

Is this really how Senate Democrats wish to conclude the 111th Congress? By reminding Americans of all the noxious, irresponsible, and laughable practices — 2,000-page bills, procedural abuses, wasteful spending, parochial self-indulgence — that came to define the Reid-Pelosi majority?

While we share the disappointment at the re-election of such legislative Smurfs as Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer and Patty Murray, the GOP’s failure to take Senate control is a blessing in disguise.

Bitter to the end and without grace or class.

If Sharron Angle defeats Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Nov. 2 – and the odds are looking very good – she will become more than the junior senator from Nevada. She’ll be widely embraced by Republicans as a folk hero who rose from obscurity to topple one of the most powerful, and partisan, Democrats in Washington.

Are Democrats endorsed by groups openly rallying with supporters of Hamas? Hezbollah? Communists? Socialists? Marxists?
