Mother’s Day surprise – Sheriff Joe breaks out pink handcuffs for deadbeat roundup

It’s a Mother’s Day tradition for Sheriff Joe Arpaio. He sent his volunteer posse and deputies out Saturday to roundup warrants on parents and people wanted for crimes against families – child support, spousal abuse and assault, and outstanding warrants. Some were even wanted for allegedly assaulting their own mothers. Back at the sheriff’s command post, dozens of women and men were bound with pink cuffs, frisked and taken to jail. No nonsense on Mom’s Day.
