Those already outraged by the president’s health care legislation now have a new bone of contention — a scarcely noticed tack-on provision to the law that puts gold coin buyers and sellers under closer government scrutiny.

One of the decade’s most under reported stories is the impending health crisis begat by our open border policies. As DC politicians posture, criminals, terrorists, drugs, and weapons flow freely into the country through our Mexican border which has deteriorated into an anarchical combat zone.

Abortion foes have scored a victory and traditional allies of the Obama administration are grumbling about a decision to ban most abortion coverage in insurance pools for those unable to purchase health care on their own.

Now that 20 states are challenging ObamaCare in court, congressional Democrats and the White House are being forced to answer the question. Despite his “no tax” pledge, Obama is now changing his tune to defend the new law, as noted by (an apparently surprised) New York Times:

Berwick, according to career employees at CMS, has begun looking at what resources are at his disposal to launch a wide-scale media and public relations offensive in support of Obamacare and his views on government-funded health care. He is also said to have asked his senior staff to look for ways to utilize some of the foundations and entities he has had relationships with while working at Harvard and his own think tank, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), and those organizations read like a who’s who from the George Soros Dustbin of Leftist Agitators.

The critical issue that Rubio and others on the right miss is that Obamacare is not about health care. It is not about making it cheaper or more affordable or more available. That is why none of those thing are accomplished in the bill. That is why offering solutions to those issues will not get Obama and the Dems to repeal it just like it did not get them to change it. According to Obama and the Democrats and as recent Obama Medicare and Medicaid Services appointee Berwick said, ‘ “Any health care funding plan that is just equitable civilized and humane must, must redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent health care is by definition redistributional.”
