I sense an overall feeling of burnout and defeatism. I know it is there because I’ve struggled with it myself.

This law provides neither “patient protection” or “affordable care.” Americans are still waiting on real reform that targets the roots of our rising costs and puts individual patients – not the government – in charge of health care decisions.

There used to be limitations on executive and legislative power. But those limitations are gone along with the top hat and the diamond stickpin. Under an ideological cloak of darkness, politicians act as if they can do anything they want.

Most of our politicians are married to the big corporations and the wealthy elitists that fund their campaigns. And most Americans are so uneducated that they believe that what we actually have today is “capitalism” and that the only alternative is to go “to the left” toward socialism.

Parallel the abuses of tyrant King George III in 1776 to what is happening to the American people under Obama’s administration, and you will see the same tyrannical measures stemming from the same tyrannical ideology.

We can conclude that from the beginning our government has been “legislating morality.” All law is rooted in morality.
