Gov. Huckabee discusses the lack of the spiritual dimension in our schools and how praying and speaking God’s name is always OK AFTER a tragedy but not before. Pushing God out of our culture leaves a vacuum that quickly fills with a culture of violence and death. If there is no God, there is no evil, no right or wrong. We are teaching our children moral relativism which is really that there are no morals.

I’ll never forget the night Barack Obama won the 2008 election, when I turned on CNN and glimpsed an unknown Republican congressman from Wisconsin named Paul Ryan. When asked about Obama’s victory, Ryan said he was most concerned about “the Europeanization of America.”

It is understood that politicians often do not tell the truth, but anyone who votes for Barack Obama is voting for the worst liar to have ever held the office of President and for a party that has imposed more debt on voters in four years than all previous Presidents combined.

Embarrassed that his party showed their true colors in rewriting the Democrat platform to exclude any mention of God and took out support for Israel’s capital city of Jerusalem, team Obama put the hammer down and forced an obvious dictatorial ruling over their own delegates. It’s been a very embarrassing week for Obama as the national debt which he called “unpatriotic” at less than $10 trillion passed the $16 trillion mark; Americans on food stamps hit a record high; and then it hits the news that Democrats don’t want any mention of God in their platform. Webster concluded that “the Christian religion, in its purity, is the basis, or rather the source of all genuine freedom in government. . . . and I am persuaded that no civil government of a republican form can exist and be durable in which the principles of that religion have not a controlling influence.”

Maybe that is why Obama leaves God out of everything. The constitution says the government shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise of religion.
