Forcing taxpayers to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for government union Viagra is not unique to Montgomery County. In fact, the very same government unions that were demanding their “right” to collective bargaining in Wisconsin have repeatedly fought for their “right” to Viagra as well:

Failure to display a pro-union sign, the letter says, “will leave us no choice but [to] do a public boycott of your business.” And if you want to remain neutral — well, that’s not good enough. “Sorry, neutral means ‘no’ to those who work for the largest employer in the area and are union members,” the letter says.

Miami-Dade mayor Carlos Alvarez and Commissioner Natacha Seijas were ousted in recall votes. Both voted for huge tax hikes that will saddle county taxpayers for years to come. This should serve as a warning shot to union sympathizers that taxpayers have had enough.

We can avoid mass teacher layoffs and reward our best performers. But we have to act now.

Yes, we understand that public sector employees got themselves terrific overtime, holiday, pension and health care deals through buying politicians with their votes and campaign money. But now, responsible elected officials in Wisconsin are trying to balance the budget.

Union protesters shouted profanity and surrounded a Wisconsin GOP senator as he tried to get in to the capitol building. A Democrat Representative who had been supporting the protests rescued the senator. Malkin and Hannity discuss.

The Democrats have just been told by the speaker pro tempore there will be no more debate before the vote, even though there were more than a dozen Democrats in the queue to speak. They shout “Shame! Shame! Shame!” The majority voted to end debate and vote.

Collective bargaining is extortion and the Wisconsin Republicans have taken the first step in freeing the people from the criminal theft by the joint efforts of Democrats and public unions. The bill now goes to the senate where the Democrats who receive the unions bribes have fled the state to obstruct the will of the people.

It stopped sending monthly pension checks to its 150 retired workers, breaking a state law requiring it to pay its promised retirement benefits in full.

The rise of government unions has been like a silent coup, an inside job engineered by self-interested politicians and fueled by campaign contributions.
