Forget about jobs and tax cuts, high priorities for American citizens. Lame-duck lawmakers, at the president’s urging , will concentrate on a “path to citizenship” for the children of illegal aliens.

The lame duck Democrats want to push as much of the leftist agenda as they can during the lame duck congress before the Republicans take control of the House.

On the Univision program “Al Punto,” Reid was repeatedly hammered by host Jorge Ramos on whether the vote would happen, win or lose on Tuesday. “The answer is yes,” Reid said.

Bills that have been painstakingly negotiated may have to be overhauled if Republicans control the House next year or pick up half a dozen Senate seats.

“Harry Reid is trying to pander to the illegal population and their supporters. He is sending a message that the leader of the U.S. Senate wants to reward those that are here illegally. That mixed signal causes people to think there are long-term benefits for coming here illegally.”

It was not a good day for those who wanted a straight vote of the Defense Appropriations bill. Sen. Reid (D – Nev.) would not permit that.

Dream Act is amnesty for millions of illegals. Illegal aliens do not need to attend college or join the military to receive legal status, they simply need to affirm that they intend to do so during the next six years. In order to receive legal status, they do not need to show they are of “good moral character” and can be convicted criminals.

Harry Reid stoops to a new low in attaching his amnesty bill to the defense funding bill essentially holding U.S. troops hostage to advance his own political career.

Reid has announced he will add the Dream Act to the Defense Authorization bill. The Dream Act allows illegals to become legal by serving two years in the military or attending two years of college where they can learn how racist and oppressive America really is.
